Does the water bill company deserve to be paid? Yes. However you are paying a 3rd party called the managament to pay for those services on your behalf. In this case the management did not provide you the services you paid them for, wouldn't you deserve to get refunded all the specific management fees that you paid for the past 6 months? To put in another way, the money to pay the water company (who deserved to be paid) should come from management because you pay them to do so.

This should be on the management side, they fucked up so they foot the bill. That's why you are paying them to manage the system. If keeping tabs on the water bill was responsibility of the tenant and no management involved then it would be a different issue.

It is like if the house you rent suddenly has a broken roof due to lack of mantainance and the landlord expects you to pay for 3 years of backward mainentance fees even though it was their negligence and they failed to even consider charging you such a fee in the rent price... and of course CE being CE will also defend the landlord in this hypothetical example

You are missing the point. It does not matter if it takes 10 or 20 minutes to drive to the store. Im sure it would take them more time than you 1) telling in store customers to wait 2 minutes more, and 2) making a 2 minute phone call to notify the impacted customer. Rember they need to drive both to get to you and to get back so multiply the time you make them waste by 2.

That's your mistake, own it, be critical and move on. Everything else would have been avoided if you did the phone call. Customers in store wont complain as much because they are already there and are seeing you are busy as hell.

So they really don't care if the people end up dying if it means they don't get caught by border services or other law enforcement.

Wouldnt it then be easier to just leave them before crossing the border? If you are going to abandon your own truck and dont care, you can probably have a backup vehicle and dont even risk taking them into the border.

I suspect something else is at play here since police can probably track down who owns the truck and also go to border cameras and find out who was driving it. The driver disappearing does sound like cartel or something unplanned.

You made the person waste their time driving to your store to get something they did not order and still charge them for it. If it happened to you, would you say "Oh its fine, i just had to drive 20 minutes down here to get a refund of something i didnt ask for and I also have to find a different place to buy something for my family to eat when everyone is hungry?". Probably not.

What happened after is not the correct behavior for the customer, but you failed first so take some responsibility and learn for the next time. Dont blame the (crazy) customer. It could have been he wanted to help you cover your mistake initially by accepting the different food but as others mentioned, when they/ their family tasted it the flavor was horrible for them and they went back annoyed and hungry.

It depends, there are Banistas(literally paid to hand out bananas for free) that get paid $22-33/hr according to glassdoor.

Even if its not addictive, Ive had friends who seemed more happy before trying pot. Before it was fun to hang out with them, chat, play, etc... Now every reunion ends up with lets eat some weed. Overtime I've found them less social or like distracted even if they are not on weed. Like their life is empty or they cant have fun without it
